CHESS TIMING Each player is allowed 30 minutes for all their turns. Turn the power on. Press the MODE key until Mode 1 is displayed. Press the + key to select two players. Press MODE again to select Mode 2. Press the CLOCK key once to select the second digit, now press the + key 3 times so it shows 30 minutes. Press the MODE key twice to get to Mode 7. This mode allows for setting the duration of the warning before your total time runs out. Press the + key to adjust. Press the MODE key once to select Mode 8. Press the CLOCK key to save all these settings into memory A. Press the MODE key once to select Mode 9. If required set a delay between turns by pressing the + or - keys and the CLOCK key to select the different digits. If you want to save this delay press the Mode key to get back to Mode 8 and press the CLOCK key to save it. Press the MODE KEY to select Mode 0. You are now ready to start playing. The first player presses the large blue key to start and again to end his turn. The time for the next player will immediately start counting down. When the 2nd player is finished his turn he presses the large key and so on. You can select to display ascending or descending time while the timer is working by pressing the CLOCK key. To prepare for the next chess game turn the G8 off and then on again. Mode 8 will be selected. All the saved data should still be in memory. Just press the blue key and all the data will be copied to the game memory. Now press the Mode key to select Mode 0 and you are ready to go. Press the blue key to start.
